Bilton Grangers
Bilton Grange C.P. School has an Out of School Club, Bilton
Grangers that has been open since March 1998. This is our flagship
club, which is based in the canteen, and is led by our most
experienced supervisor supported by a small team of dedicated and
skilled staff. Sessions at all the clubs involve traditional indoor
and outdoor activities, allowing lots of time for playing and
socialising with the use of play station and television kept to a
minimum. Children are allowed free choice within firm boundaries of
good behaviour. This is our busiest club and has the largest team of
staff requiring the highest standard of organisation, which the
present supervisor handles with ease.
The Club is closed on Bank Holidays
Holiday care is also available at Bilton Grangers with the staff
from all our clubs working here at various times. Children come from
many local schools giving everyone chance to meet and make new
friends. During the holidays we offer a wider and more varied range
of activities in addition to all the usual choices. Popular themes
have included Sports Coaching, visits from people of local interest
e.g. RNLI, and Railway Safety, Arts and Crafts, Make your own Lunch,
Medieval Times and Holidaying on a Cruise Ship.
Holiday Opening Hours Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm
During the holidays fruit is available for children who arrive early
at the club, with a more substantial snack available later in the
morning. This may be a breakfast type snack of toast etc or may
include food connected to the current theme.
